Susanne Palsten Buchardt is a business executive with an extensive background leading international commercial divisions within the biosolutions and green energy sectors. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Algiecel, a Danish biotechnology firm that utilizes compact, artificial-light photobioreactors to transform captured CO₂ into microalgae-based ingredients. Prior to this, she managed global agricultural and animal health portfolios at Novonesis (formerly Novozymes) and drove renewable energy projects at Ørsted. Buchardt specializes in using bio-manufacturing to decarbonize complex industrial supply chains without sacrificing functional product performance.
