Frost & Sullivan, a leading global market research and strategy consulting firm, has named Baumer “Global Company of the Year 2026”.
The selection in the “Position and Distance Sensing” category was preceded by a broad-based market analysis and in-depth interviews with companies identified as industry leaders. In the case of Baumer, Frost & Sullivan analysts concluded: “Rather than operating as a traditional sensor supplier, Baumer acts as an integrated partner in the field of sensor technology, where in-depth technical expertise, a deep understanding of applications, and a high level of reliability go hand in hand.” The report also highlights the strong innovative capabilities and customer focus of Baumer.
Leading position as a sensor specialist
Dr. Oliver Vietze, CEO and Chairman of the Baumer Group, sees this recognition as proof that not only end users but also independent market observers recognize the leading position of Baumer as a sensor specialist. "Baumer regularly receives awards for its outstanding products and corporate achievements. However, I am especially pleased to receive this ‘Company of the Year’ recognition. Because it doesn't single out any one sensor technology, but rather recognizes our role as an innovative solution partner for the entire field of position and distance sensing," says Dr. Oliver Vietze.
